Hi! We're Matzo Ball Toys, a new plush toy company built for Jews, by Jews.

We're a bunch of 30-somethings who found ourselves suddenly surrounded by more babies than we could count from both friends and family. And the more we searched for the right Jewish toys to gift these beautiful new Jewish babies, the more we struggled to find something we truly loved.

Which is how Matzo Ball Toys was born. Yes, to fill a much needed gap — but more importantly, to create something uniquely Jewish for the world.

Matzo Ball Toys is a collection of plush toys and books that will inspire Jewish pride, that are unabashedly Jewish, and of course are huggable and adorable and delicious and everything in between.

Our mission is a simple one: to bring more Jewish joy into the world, one toy at a time.

Meet the Founders

Will Stein & Molly Alstodt

Will and Molly are two recently engaged NYC area Jews who love all things plush. Matzo Ball Toys started when Will was shopping for Hanukkah gifts for his nephew and noticed a lack of high quality Jewish toys for kids. This was the domino that started the matzo balls rolling, and thus Matzo Ball Toys was born.

Alex Anhalt & Camille Hallin-Anhalt

Alex and Camille are a married couple living in Nashville, Tennessee alongside their pup Bissli! Camille is our designer, jack of all trades artist, and in-house silly goose, while Alex handles very serious things alongside our co-founder Will.
